ON VIEW is a night of art, community and collaboration.  The visual arts field is vast, and yet the space for emerging artists to show new work is small. ON VIEW was conceived to widen that space and to connect emerging artists with new audiences. This recurring series of events builds community and fosters collaboration. It is driven and supported by the artists featured.

The premiere of On View will take place on Thursday, October 28 at Zebulon in Brooklyn, NY.  Starting at 8pm, we’ll screen the work of four local, emerging artists:  two filmmakers and two photographers.  Participating artists for the October screening include filmmakers Katie Stern and Jane Renaud and photographers Ying Ang and RJ Mickelson. Ekoko Omadeke, curator and host of the Southern Writers Reading Series at Happy Ending, will emcee the night’s events. Live music and DJ set by Lobisomem (aka: Brad Loving) will follow the show.
